By using this Website, you signify your explicit assent to this Terms of Use as well as the Website’s Privacy Policy (which is hereby incorporated by reference herein).

These Terms of Use sets out the legally binding terms of services available on the Website as well as at the terms of use of this Website. These Terms of Use along with the Privacy Policy extends to both users, who visit the Website but do not transact business on the Website (“Users / Guests”) as well as users who are registered with by the Website to transact business on the Website (“Members”).

The Company reserves the right to modify or terminate any portion of the Website or the Services offered by the Company for any reason, without notice and without liability to you or any third party. You are responsible for regularly reviewing these Terms of Use so that you will be apprised of changes, if any. Nothing in these Terms of Use should be construed to confer any rights to third party beneficiaries. As per government regulations, all CaratLane designs above 2 gms are BIS hallmarked.

Our Promise

This Website provides access to trading, pricing, news and other information services related to diamonds, precious gems and jewellery. Certain Services available on this Website are for the use of Members only. Please note that some of the terms under these Terms of Use, differ for purchases for personal consumption and for investment purposes.

This Website offers services for Members who wish to purchase diamonds / jewellery for personal consumption, inclusive of, customized and readymade Jewellery. The Website also offers services to sell diamonds for investment. The Website displays diamonds and gemstones that are specifically recommended for the purpose of investment. The Website will also feature the recommendations of a trained diamond consultant, circulate a list of investment grade diamonds and recommend good buys. Recommendations of the consultant are not guaranteed under any circumstances and the Company shall not be held liable for any loss and / or damage suffered by Members who rely on such recommendation.

Some items may appear slightly larger or smaller than actual size due to screen defaults and photography techniques. Sometimes the items may be represented larger than the actual size in order to clearly show details or smaller than the actual size in order to show the entire item. The Company shall not be liable for any legal action on this account.

Definitions

“Jewellery” means the jewellery that is predesigned or jewellery set with diamonds and / or gemstones that are available for sale on our website. Please note that all Jewellery is sold on “as is” basis. “Mounts” are defined as designs that hold a diamond(s) / gemstone(s) in place, which may or may not have diamonds/ gemstones. Members can select Mounts and diamonds separately to create customized Jewellery. “Loose Diamonds” are individual diamonds that can be bought without being set on Mounts.

CaratLane PoP! 9=10

  1. The customer can participate in the PoP scheme with a minimum monthly instalment of ₹1,000/- (Rupees One Thousand only) or above, i.e. in multiples of ₹1,000/- (Rupees One Thousand only). It is made clear that no fractional amounts can be paid by a customer in a scheme.
  2. The date on which the first monthly instalment is paid by the customer shall be considered as the enrolment date.
  3. Only individuals above the age of 18 can enrol in the CaratLane PoP Scheme. The Company reserves the right to obtain proof for the same from a customer.
  4. Under the CaratLane PoP Scheme, the individual is required to make payment for nine fixed monthly instalments. After the payment of the 9th monthly instalment, the Company will offer a discount equal to the amount of the first monthly instalment (“discount/benefit”).
  5. For monthly instalments amounting to ₹20,000/- or above, PAN Card of the customer shall be collected as mandatory KYC Proof.
  6. The PoP Scheme can be redeemed online on the website of the Company www.caratlane.com or at any CaratLane store or during a try-at-home appointment.
  7. In case auto debit facility has been availed by the customer, the limit for such auto debit facility shall be as below: Auto Debit on Credit/Debit Card would be available up to a limit of ₹5,000/- per instalment. Auto Debit on UPI ID would be available up to a limit of ₹15,000/- per instalment. Auto debit will be automatically disabled by the company if it fails after three attempts for any reason.
  8. Once the first instalment is paid, the instalment amount cannot be altered.
  9. Customers can have only one active 1 PoP! account at a time.
  10. Entities such as companies, partnership firms, proprietorship concerns or trusts, Hindu Undivided Family (HUF) or NRIs, international users and minors (under the age of 18 years) are not eligible to enroll under the CaratLane PoP Scheme.
